When in Rome, do not eat at the monuments

Mixed views among locals after mayor bans eating and drinking at famous monuments in Italian capital.

Recent legistlation in Rome has seen a ban on eating and drinking at famous monuments like the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum.

The mayor’s new laws could see those caught camping out on or around them are reprimanded, and a possible fine of more than $60.
