Kodak has filed for bankruptcy protection, marking another reversal for the company that was once a worldwide leader in film and photography.
Yet the firm’s decline has presented new opportunities for Rochester, the New York city where Kodak once flourished, and where the local unemployment rate has stayed below the US national average.
