Samsung bites back after Apple victory

South Korean technology giant Samsung has said consumers will soon face fewer choices, less innovation and higher prices when it comes to electronic products.

The comments followed a ruling by a jury in the US that ordered the company to pay more than $1bn to rival Apple for infringing on patent technology.

The court decision is only one of the many international legal battles between the two company, some of which could change the technology industry.
