Brisk business for UK maritime security firms
Combating piracy is lucrative for British companies in sector that continues to expand.

Efforts to combat maritime piracy have led to a rise in the number of security companies in the United Kingdom.
The maritime security sector has an estimated turnover of more than $400m per year, and 85 per cent of the firms now doing business did not exist just four years ago.
But an increase in hijacking on the high seas has changed this lucrative profession. Al Jazeera’s Emma Hayward reports from the south of England.
