Hong Kong rallies decry low wages
Labour unions say a new minimum wage law is inadequate for countering territory’s crippling inflation.

Labour unions have staged massive protests in Hong Kong in spite of a new minimum wage law that aims to protect the city’s lower paid workers.
On May 1 – International Labour Day – a huge crowd took to the streets saying the measure is not enough to counter crippling inflation.
