Since the Kirchner’s came to power in Argentina, the country has enjoyed one of its longest periods of economic growth, that has allowed the government to increase public spending and encourage consumption.
The investment has paid off as incumbent leader Christina Kirchner’s approval ratings have soared in the last months.
They currently stand at around 60 per cent.
And pre-election polls, ahead of the country’s presidential vote on Sunday, suggest that she could win by a landslide.
