BP hit by record loss
Oil giant replaces CEO as US oil spill hits earnings.

BP has been hit by record losses following the disastrous Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
The company said it was $17bn worse off in the second quarter of this year and the board also removed Tony Hayward as CEO, replacing him with American Bob Dudley.
