Cuba’s former leader, in first appearance since 2007, heavily criticises old nemesis.

Fidel Castro, Cuba’s former president, has made his first televison appearance since 2007 in an apparently robust and cogent shape.
Castro had largely disappeared from the public eye after he fell seriously ill four years ago.
As Al Jazeera’s Tom Ackeman reports, Castro returned to the small screen with much fiery criticism for an old nemesis nation, the US.
