Air crisis hits Bangladesh exports
Garment industry fears losing deals because of air traffic chaos sparked by volcanic ash.

Industries across the world have suffered huge losses due to the volcano chaos in Europe, where airspace across the continent was closed for days, freezing business ventures worldwide and costing many millions of dollars.
One of those severely hit is Bangladesh’s garment industry.
Bangladesh’s economy relies heavily on the annual $14bn revenue earned by the clothing firms, which fear the flight cancellations will jeapordise deals worth millions of dollars.
Al Jazeera’s Nicolas Haque reports from Dhaka, the Bangladeshi capital.
