Gulf nation’s reluctance to do business with Iran banks following US pressure hurt Iranians.

Iranian nationals in the United Arab Emirates say new restrictions on their banks are stifling their financial operations and impacting their livelihoods.

The United States has put pressure on the Emiraiti authorities to impose tougher sanctions against Tehran, which has led to many Emirati financial institutions stopping handling money from Iranian banks.
