Millions of Filipinos who work overseas are left vulnerable to abuse at the hands of illegal recruiters.

The Philippines is the largest organised labour-exporting country in the world, according to statistics from the US-based Brookings Institution.
An estimated eight million Filipinos live and work overseas, but for many workers, trying to earn a living is proving to be dangerous and even sometimes fatal.
