Rubbish clogs Manila bay
Philippine capital’s waterfront is now a massive rubbish dump.

What was once a site of pride and beauty, the main waterfront in the Philippine capital, Manila, is today little more than a massive rubbish dump.
Manila Bay is clogged and polluted, primarily from the squatters who have set up homes along the waterway.
The government is trying to clean the bay up, but as Al Jazeera’s Wayne Hay reports, there appears to be no quick fix.
