Mostafa Minawi

Mostafa Minawi is an associate professor of history and the director of Critical Ottoman and Post-Ottoman Studies initiative at Cornell University. He is the author of The Ottoman Scramble for Africa: Empire and Diplomacy in the Sahara and the Hijaz (Stanford University Press, 2016), and Losing Istanbul: Arab-Ottoman Imperialists and the End of Empire (Stanford University Press, 2022).
