The Houthis, an armed op­po­si­tion group in north­ern Yemen which the gov­ern­ment launched six wars against in nine years, re­cent­ly pub­li­cised the in­ten­tion to stage an un­prece­dent­ed pub­lic cel­e­bra­tion of the Prophet Mo­hammed’s birth­day on Jan­u­ary 24.
