Space exploration can teach human solidarity when we need it the most – amid a pandemic.
Dr Ji Wu, Professor, Former Director-General of National Space Science Center (NSSC), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), President of Chinese Society ... of Space Research, IEEE Fellow, Full Member of International Academy of Astronautics (IAA). He is the member of Advisory Committee for Space resources, Luxembourg, member of international advisory committee of UAE Space Agency. He was also the vice-president of Committee for Space Research (COSPAR) from 2010-2018. He was project managers of many international and domestic space science missions, including Double Star Program, Yinhuo-1 Mars Mission, CE-1, and CE-3 science payloads of Chinese Lunar Programs, CAS Strategic Priority Program on Space Science Phase I. He is awardees of Laurels Team Achievement Award of IAA (2010), Marcelo Nicolas Space Weather Award (2017), and several national awards of science and technology. His research interests are in the fields of interferometric imaging technology for microwave remote sensing and space weather. He has more than 100 publications and 10 patents.
