Alexander Urry is from Oakland, California, and is a current MPH candidate at the Yale School of Public Health (YSPH) studying Healthcare Management. ... Prior to attending YSPH, Urry worked at the Gladstone Institute for Neurological Disease managing a project studying a new stem cell therapy for stroke currently moving through clinical trials. This past summer, Urry worked on the House Appropriations Committee on issues related to mental health access for immigrant children and cancer research. Urry is a current Frederic Bastiat Fellow at the Mercatus Center applying Virginian, Austrian and Bloomington schools of political economy to health policy, and one of the 2018-2019 David A. Winston Health Policy Scholars.
