Several killed in Sudan copter crash

Twenty people were killed when a military helicopter crashed in central Sudan.

The crash in the area of Umm Sayyala, in North Kordofan state, was  blamed on an unspecified technical problem.

The helicopter was transporting 19 soldiers, including six officers and a student who had been injured in an earlier road accident, said an army spokesman in Khartoum on Wednesday.
