Three prominent, pro-democracy student leaders in Hong Kong are being freed after the city’s highest court unanimously quashed their jail sentences.

It is a stunning victory for Joshua Wong, Nathan Law and Alex Chow, after recent setbacks for pro-democracy groups - including one candidate’s disqualification from an upcoming election.

Al Jazeera's Sarah Clarke reports from Hong Kong.
