An increasingly bitter back-and-forth going on between veteran US diplomat, Bill Richardson, and Myanmar's government.

It began when Richardson quit an international advisory board on the Rohingya crisis, labelling it a "government whitewash" and saying Myanmar's leader Aung San Suu Kyi "lacks moral authority".

Al Jazeera's Scott Heidler has more from Yangon, Myanmar.
