Mexico struggles to curb violence

Politicians in Mexico are considering adopting a controversial security law that critics say would pose a risk to human rights in the country.

The UN High Commissioner on Human Rights says the law is deeply worrying and is urging the government to reject the proposal.

Mexico has spent years trying to curb drug-related violence and murder.
