HRW: Widespread election-related sexual violence in Kenya

In Kenya, dozens of women have told Human Rights Watch (HRW) that they were gang-raped during the recent presidential election campaigns.

Some men made similar complaints against attackers, often wearing police uniform.

Kenya’s inspector general of police says the allegations are propaganda and lack evidence.

Al Jazeera’s Catherine Soi reports from Nairobi.
