Backing Mid-East peace: Your views

Obama’s General Assembly speech urged the international community to mobilise behind the US-led peace process, calling on Palestinians to “reconcile with a secure Israel”, and their friends to implement the Arab Peace Plan’s proposed normalisation with Israel. He has said Israel’s partial settlement moratorium “should” be extended, and that talks “press on until completed”. Does Obama’s peace urge have any chance of succeeding?
