Will there be a civil war between Hamas and Fatah?

At least nine Palestinians have been killed and scores wounded, including a senior Fatah politician, in battles in Gaza City between Hamas security forces and Fatah supporters. Saturday's clashes ended with Israel opening its border to fleeing members of a prominent Gaza-based pro-Fatah family. Could this development trigger an all-out Fatah-Hamas confrontation and what would this mean for residents of Gaza and the West Bank?
