This year 17 African nations are celebrating 50 years of independence from European domination. What have been the greatest success stories - and the greatest failures - of these post-independence years? How has colonialism shaped Africa? What would you like to see happen on the continent in the next 50 years? What are the biggest challenges facing it and how can Africa overcome them?
