Severe thunderstorms have brought torrential rain, hail and even a tornado to parts of central Europe [Al Jazeera]

Heavy downpours have been pounding many parts of Europe over the past few days.

The rain has already brought flooding to parts of France and Austria, and now it’s Hungary which has been hit by the severe weather.

Damaging hailstones and a tornado struck the northeast of the country, before sweeping through neighbouring Serbia.
