British golfers claimed four of the top five placings at the US PGA Championship. Did the strong winds play a part?

Rory McIlroy's victory in the US PGA Championship at the Ocean Course, Kiawah Island in South Carolina was a remarkable achievement.

The young Irishman finished eight shots clear of the field. But it seems McIroy was not the only Brit to enjoy playing in the windy weather.

Davis Lynn, Justin Rose and Ian Poulter also finished in the top five with only Keegan Bradley of the US breaking up the British domination.
