India celebrates World Cup win

Millions of fans across India descended on the streets to celebrate India’s World Cup victory over Sri Lanka.

Jubilant cricket lovers celebrated the long-awaited win late into the night.

The city of Mumbai, the venue of the match, came to a standstill as fans thronged the roads waving national flag, playing bands and blaring horns.
