Olympic torch relay on its final lap
Away from concerns about security and transport chaos, many are excited about the London games.

It is countdown now in London until the opening ceremony of the Summer Olympic Games on Friday night.

In the lead-up, the Olympic torch has been paraded around some of the city's most famous landmarks. It even received a royal welcome at Buckingham Palace near the end of its marathon 69-day journey across the country.
