Syria shows how it is rebuilding Aleppo

Nine months after government recaptured Aleppo, it has allowed cameras in to film how some of city’s parts are being rebuilt.

Aleppo used to be known as Syria’s economic hub before it became one of the most brutal battlegrounds in the civil war. Syrian and Russian forces fought opposition groups for control, leaving eastern Aleppo under siege for three years. Nine months after the Syrian government recaptured the city, it has allowed cameras in to film how some parts are being rebuilt.
