Hundreds of high-rise buildings in England are to be checked to see if they have the same type of cladding used on the Grenfell Tower, where at least 79 people died in a fire.

    Hundreds of high-rise buildings in England are to be checked to see if they have the same type of cladding used on the Grenfell Tower, west London, where at least 79 people died in a fire.

    Councils in England estimate that around 600 tower blocks have some form of cladding.

    Al Jazeera’s Sonia Gallego reports from London.
