Puerto Rico: 179 public schools to close amid financial crisis

The US territory of Puerto Rico plans to close 179 schools due to crippling debt of more than $70 bn.

Officials say it’s an opportunity to re-invest in Puerto Rico’s education system but with thousands of students affected, many are now worried about the future.
