Pakistan resumes repatriation of Afghan refugees

A government crackdown following a wave of security incidents and border fighting has led many Afghans to feel they are no longer safe in Pakistan.

After years of living in Pakistan and months of delays, thousands of Afghan refugees are crossing the border and returning home under a UN repatriation scheme.
