Yemen signs ceasefire with Houthi fighters

Government reaches deal with armed group in Al Jouf area in the country’s north after several weeks of fighting.

Yemen’s government has signed a ceasefire agreement with Houthi fighters in the Al Jouf area in the country’s north.
 
The truce was reached after several weeks of fighting over the oil-rich area which borders Saudi Arabia.
