Voters in Algeria are set to chose a new president on Thursday.

Algerians outside of the country have begun voting for a new president, with voting within Algeria taking place on Thursday.

President Bouteflika is trying for a fourth term in office, and his challenger is another establishment figure, leading many young voters to disavow the whole process. 

Jacky Rowland reports from Paris.
