Barcelona on Middle East 'peace tour'

Spanish champions play games in Israel and West Bank in bid to promote peace efforts in region.

Thousands of fans have turned out to see their favourite players from Barcelona football club as they make a landmark visit to the Middle East.

The footballers are visiting Israel and the occupied West Bank in a bid to promote peace efforts there. 

It was only last year that some Palestinians were calling for a boycott of the Spanish club.

Al Jazeera’s Sue Turton reports from Jerusalem.
