Austria peacekeepers begin Golan withdrawal

Departure of 400 Austrian troops raises security concerns in Syrian territory seized by Israel.

Austria has begun withdrawing its peacekeepers from the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.

Two peacekeepers were hurt recently when Syria's war spilled into the region.

The Austrian withdrawal cuts the UN mission by a third and it is still uncertain which nations will send reinforcements.

Al Jazeera's Sue Turton reports from Golan.
