Austria has begun withdrawing its peacekeepers from the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.

Two peacekeepers were hurt recently when Syria's war spilled into the region.

The Austrian withdrawal cuts the UN mission by a third and it is still uncertain which nations will send reinforcements.
