Egypt plans to resurrect landmark bridge

Cairo planners move to rebuild celebrated Abu el-Ela Bridge featured in film and music videos.

Abu el-Ela Bridge was one of Cairo's most familiar landmarks for decades.

But Egyptian officials decided in the 1990s that the bridge that crossed the Nile River could no longer handle the city's traffic and tore it down.

Al Jazeera's Rawya Rageh reports from Cairo on plans to rebuild it.
