UN makes aid plea for refugees in Jordan

With more than 45,000 Syrians in one camp, UN secretary general calls for more aid during visit.

The UN secretary general says he has not seen any confirmed reports that Syria is preparing to use chemical weapons.

Ban Ki-moon is in Turkey after visiting a Syrian refugee camp in Jordan. While there, he met some of the families housed there and appealed for more international assistance.

Ban said that only half of the aid requested has been delivered.

Al Jazeera's Nisreen El-Shamayleh reports from Al Zaatari Camp in Mafraq.
