Violent clashes continue in Syria
Protesters and police each accuse the other of inciting violence, as skirmishes go on.

Protest violence has continued in Syria, as police reportedly used tear gas against demonstrators in the city of Daraa on Monday.

The government, however, has maintained that protesters were carrying weapons and fired on police, who had no choice but to defend themselves.

Al Jazeera's Cal Perry reports from the Syrian capital, Damascus.
