Members of the French far-right have called for Algeria to be excluded from the famous parade.

Members of the French far right have called for Algeria to be excluded from France’s Bastille Day parade. 

July 14 is Bastille Day in France, the anniversary of the country’s 1789 revolution. This year has added significance – troops from dozens of countries will join the ceremony, as they mark 100 years since the start of the first world war.
