Monet painting fetches $54m in London sale
French artist’s Water Lily proves star attraction of Sotheby’s sale of Impressionist and modern art in London.

The eyes of the art world were fixed on London for Sotheby’s sale of Impressionist and modern art on Monday.
The star attraction was one of Claude Monet’s Water Lily paintings that went for as much as $54m.
