Hollywood has spent years telling us that 3D movies are the future, but it may be in for a shock.
Cinema visits have hit a record high, but viewings of 3D films are set to drop for the first time since 2009.
Al Jazeera’s Phil Lavelle reports from the Venice Film Festival, where there are only two 3D movies on show.
