Scientists in Russia have found a sizeable fragment of the meteor that exploded over the Ural Mountains last week.

The blast, which sent shock waves through the region of Chelyabinsk caused 33 million dollars worth of damage and injured more than 1,500 people.

Now Russia is looking to build a defence system to protect the country from further space falls. Al Jazeera's Charlie Angela reports.
