Butter shortages spread in Norway

Anyone who has ever prepared a traditional Christmas dinner knows one ingredient is crucial to culinary success – butter.
But it is a commodity now in short supply in Norway, as the country is suffering an ‘acute’ shortage of the dairy product.
The country’s entire stockpile has been consumed, causing a panic as Norwegians need butter to bake their traditional Christmas cookies.
