France's football team has arrived home to a storm of criticism following its early exit from the World Cup.

Poor performances on the pitch, and infighting off it, have infuriated the French public.

Thierry Henry, one of the team's star players, has met Nicolas Sarkozy, the country's president, to discuss what went wrong.
