She is called the Burka Avenger and is like no other superhero before her.

By day she is a Pakistani school teacher, but by night the secret martial arts expert dresses in a veil while fighting bad guys.

The animated children's series is about to hit TV screens across Pakistan.

Al Jazeera's Imtiaz Tyab reports from Islamabad.
