The Afghan army has told Al Jazeera it will investigate a video which allegedly shows troops abusing the bodies of dead Taliban fighters.

Pictures posted on a social media website show two corpses being dragged behind army vehicles.

Al Jazeera's Bernard Smith's reports from Kabul.
