Pakistan bans controversial video games

Shopkeepers say ‘Call of Duty’ and ‘Medal of Honor’ videogames portray Pakistan as a failed state.

The latest versions of two of the world’s bestselling videogames will no longer be sold in Pakistan.

The country’s top retailers have banned the sale of Call of Duty, as well as the series, Medal of Honor.

Shopkeepers say the videogames portray Pakistan as a failed state where its intelligence agencies are in league with al-Qaeda.
