North Korean defectors escape to Thailand

Growing number of defectors cross illegally to Thailand to fast-track asylum to South Korea.

    In the last decade, the number of defectors from North Korea arriving in Thailand has increased from just a few dozen a year, to more than two thousands.

    Al Jazeera's Scott Heidler spoke to one woman in Bangkok.
