Australia asylum seekers left in limbo

Under the new government, elected in September, ongoing applications by asylum seekers were frozen.

    For asylum seekers who make it to Australia, arriving can be the start of another ordeal.

    And the Australian government's increasingly hardline policy on refugees is leaving many in limbo.
